CN Yang Award


The Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS) and the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) have jointly established the AAPPS-APCTP Chen-Ning Yang Award (C.N. Yang Award).

The C.N. Yang Award has been established by to honor young researchers with prominent research achievements and to promote the development of leaders in physics in the Asia Pacific region. 

The prize consists of a US$1000 monetary prize and a certificate for each recipient.


Eligibility Requirements

The AIP is a member society of the AAPPS and therefore is eligible to make nominations to this award.  

Each AIP Group may make one nomination every year to this award.

Self nomination is not possible.

Further Information

Nominations Close: 3 June 2024.

The submission requires simultaneous submission to the secretary of the AAPPS and the administrative office of the APCTP at award@apctp.org

AIP Group submissions must be Cc'd to the AIP Award Officer at awards@aip.org.au.
