Activities

Across the week, the AIP Congress will feature a vibrant program of activities designed to bring the community together. As planning progresses, new offerings will be added here. Highlights include free public lectures, the 2026 Congress Dinner on Sydney Harbour, networking breakfasts, an early registration day, and opportunities tailored for teachers and schools.

Congress Dinner

Wednesday, 9 December
7.00 pm – 10.30 pm

A highlight of the AIP conference, especially for those travelling to Sydney from afar, the AIP Dinner offers an opportunity to celebrate and recognise physicists from across Australia and New Zealand, through the AIP and ANZOS award ceremonies.

Set across three decks and travelling on calm harbour waters, this unique experience will take delegates and their guests on a three-hour cruise around Sydney Harbour.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased via the registration portal.
